Naoko Takeuchi was born on March 15, 1967, in Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan. His parents are Kenji and Ikoko Takeuchi. He has a younger brother named Shingo.

He completed his primary education at Kofu Ichi High School. During her school years, she was part of astronomy clubs and manga clubs. She also often wore a sailor’s suit. Her later experiences served as an inspiration for the “Sailor Moon”.

She wanted to be a professional manga artist from an early age. However, just because it didn’t work, Naoko earned his degree in chemistry from the Curiosity University of Pharmacy. She became a licensed pharmacist.

Professional Life

Early in her life, she was the first lady at the shrine of Miko, or “Maiden,” at the shrine of Sheba Daijango. Novo Takeuchi began his career as a manga artist at the age of 19 when his work Love Call (1986) was selected by Kodansha Limited. After that, she worked on one shot piece and gained experience.

His first major work was “Chocolate Christmas” (1987-1988). The manga was about a girl who fell in love with a DJ during Christmas. He then followed Maria (1989-1990).

From 1990 to 1991, he wrote The Cherry Project. In 1991, Takeuchi created the Codeine Seller V. It featured the adventures of Minako Aino, or the sailor V, the protagonist of a precious magic film that was released in three volumes until 1997. The popularity of the series and the character were also an inspiration for the creation of “Sailor Moon”.

From 1992 to 1997, Novo Tekochi gained international fame for making him the ‘Beautiful Soldier Sailor Moon. The famous manga took on the story of a reborn celestial heroine, Toki☆Meca.

In 2003, Sailor Moon was made into a live-action series, Beautiful Guardian Celine Moon. This was followed by the live-action film ‘Beautiful Guardian Celery Moon: Special Act’ (2004).
