Product Description

The author of the cult classic Zanesville returns with a seductive and terrifying novel of grit, gunplay, vampirism—and a bit of bondage. A dubious police buddy Detective Birch Ritter hasn’t seen in a year introduces him to a mysterious woman who says her business is shadows—but what she knows about what lies inside the darkness of men is more than Ritter may want to find out. In Private Midnight, Kris Saknussemm delves into a world where even the sunlight is shadowy and deviancy is the norm and reinvents crime noir for a new generation.
