Product Description
Peter Chin Kean Choy has been teaching sold-out T'ai Chi classes for over twenty years, helping thousands of people apply an understanding of nature to the maintenance of health and the cure of illness. His unique approach--a combination of T'ai Chi and Chi Kung (which means "study of chi energy") based on the Tao of color--has continually brought new dynamism and vigor to the lives of his students. Now through the fifteen fundamental exercises in his book, he shows how to easily harness the chi (or "intrinsic energy") of life, even in the simplest of daily activities.
Each of Choy's exercises is associated with a different rainbow hue: violet for forgiveness and healing; indigo for selfless service and unity in diversity; blue for peace and clarity. The first eight T'ai-Chi exercises help to open up the channels of energy in the body, relax the muscles and ligaments, and regulate the blood circulation, while the remaining seven Chi Kung exercises help to channel and direct your body's energy to achieve optimum health. The exercises can be practiced individually or as a whole, for as little as five minutes a day and can even be applied to the routine task of daily life such as ironing and typing.
With the help of T'ai Chi Chi Kung, one can achieve balance of heart, mind and spirit in a happier and healthier body, and share the rewards experienced by Peter Choy's thousands of satisfied students.
Peter Chin Kean Choy has led weekly classes and workshops on T'ai-Chi, Chi Kung and the Taoist Arts for the last twenty years. He was a member of the Findhorn Foundations where he started the Rainbow Bridge Journal. He has written many booklets on Foundation T'ai-Chi Chi Kung course subjects.
